We were thrilled to present Bea Henley with a box of Wooing Tree Blondie & Co this month after she purchased her second section at Wooing Tree Estate.
Cromwell was already a holiday destination for Bea when she heard that one of her favourite wineries was being turned into a new neighbourhood. In late 2021 Bea made the move from Havelock North to Cromwell, or as she puts it “from one wine country to another”. She can’t wait for October to arrive, when the GJ Gardner team will start building her new forever home and potentially a small Air BnB next door.
When we asked Bea why she chose Wooing Tree Estate she came up with quite a list of reasons. Cromwell’s just a drive away from one of her daughters and grandchildren in West Otago and close enough to Queenstown airport for her to get on a plane and visit North Island family. With an underpass coming soon it’ll be possible to walk literally everywhere around town. And most importantly she’ll be surrounded by people with plenty to do whether it’s joining in with the Arts & Crafts society or the weekly Cromwell cycle group – or just walking her dogs.
